ABOUT COIST
Certificate Course in Online Information Sources, Tools and Techniques (COIST) is a (classroom based) short-term programme tailored for research scholars (pursuing PhD/MPhil/Post Doc.). Now any graduate can also pursue this Course. The course helps use the Internet resources more effectively and efficiently for research studies or any other academic pursuits.
The Course has excellent teaching fraternity sharing their knowledge and skills on various essential online information sources and tools viz. reference managers, electronic theses and dissertations, machine translation, online search strategies, deep web, open access journals/databases, abstracting and indexing databases, compiling automatic bibliography, plagiarism detection softwares, preparing online questionnaires etc.

» The cheque/Demand Draft should be in favour of The Principal, Nagindas Khandwala College (Payable at Mumbai)

2. Internal Marks: 20
3. Total Marks: 100
Grades:
1. 75% and above = A Grade
2. 65% and above = B Grade
3. 55% and above = C Grade
4. 45% and above = D Grade
5. Belove 45% = Not qualified
Note:
1. COIST is one of the innovative practices of our Library and is not recognized by any regulatory bodies
2. Do not pay fees at the time of applying for the Course. No fees for applying for the Course
3. Only selected candidates will be informed to pay the fees
4. Fees once paid, will not reimbursed
5. No accommodation facility is available
6. COIST is a classroom based Course not an Online Course
7. We do not have accommodation facility (for the outstation candidates) in our College in Mumbai
